Each night, I decorate the walls of my room with sketches of a city I've never seen. (I've held the same air in my lungs for the past seventeen years- I think it's time for a fresh breath, but only as time will allow. Do you think that you can trick time into thinking that it never passed? Do you really think each new memory can just replace the last?)
I pay attention to the finer details, like the crooked and tired buildings that cast shadows over lonely playgrounds and the dim lamp posts lighting the road like an infinite set of sad eyes. When it's time to sleep, I lay on my back and stare at my makeshift night sky. I always forget the stars. And each morning, when I wake, I always wake up alone. So I erase my walls and start again. Do I dare disturb the universe?
Incredibly talented and thought-out post-rock influenced screamo from our California brothers. Johnny's vocals are emotional and intense, and the music behind them is massive and jarring. Old Gray
These guys put on one of the best live shows I have ever seen; not only are they some of our closest friends, they are all musical virtuosos, and this release shows it. Can't wait for the LP. Old Gray
one of the best and most excellent midwest emo record there is! amazingly well mixed for midwest emo. waterbed from this record compared to their mv version proves how important a good mix is, because suddenly this song sounds a lot more raw yet well produced in here. singaporecentralemo
Fans of Polvo, take note! The excellent Kansas City band Abandoncy has the same fondness for corkscrewing riffs & melodies. It’s great! Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 28, 2022
